Barcelona degusta 2009

From March 6 to 9, 2009, the third edition of "Barcelona degust", event dedicated to retail food and drinks, will be held at the Barcelona expo center located near Plaza d'Espana. The event will let visitors taste, buy and learn all there is to know on food and how to cook it. Furthermore, visitors can participate in discussions and workshops held by famous chefs and gourmets. More than 36,000 people visited the over 500 exhibitor stands covering 20,000 square meters in the previous edition. The expo is divided in two sections. The Kiosk and Bazaar area promotes cookbooks and home improvement solutions. The area called Ambigus offers the ideal place to try the large variety of culinary fares. The event is a must for sector professionals such as shop owners, chefs, restaurant owners, sommeliers, distributors and anyone else who works in the gastronomy field.
